Robert Capa

Most famous for his photo from 1936 during the Spanish Civil War. The photo was of a Loyalist fighter being shot.

Considered one of the greatest war photos of all time, although some skeptics believe the photo was staged.

Robert Capa was from Budapest, Hungary who founded Magnum, an organization for photographers. The group was established to sell photography to individuals rather than to publications who then retained the rights to the photos.

His famous photo is titled Death of A Loyalist Soldier.
The Normandy Invasion on D-Day (1944) is another one of his famous photos, one of the few which survived a darkroom accident involving the unexposed film.
